Greet your opponents at the table in a welcoming manner.

If there are any queries, please call the Director, who is there  to help.

Be courteous to your partner, your opponents and the Director at all times.

Don't criticise your partner or opponents at the end of a hand - offer comments on the bidding or play only if asked to do so.

Avoid unnecessary pauses in your bidding and play.

The lead should be made and dummy put down before players write the contract on their score card.

If you wish to discuss a hand with your partner, please wait until all the boards have been played – and do not continue with the discussion when you meet the next pair.

Thank your opponents at the end of the round.
