an amiable and friendly atmosphere for members and visitors alike to enjoy their
bridge.

Greet your opponents at the table in a welcoming manner
Be courteous toyour partner, your opponents and the Director at all times
If there are any queries, please call the Director, who is there to help
Don't criticise your partner or opponents at the end of a hand - offer comments on
the bidding or play only if asked to do so
The lead should be made and dummy put down before players write the contract on their
score card
Avoid unnecessary pauses in your bidding and play
If you wish to discuss a hand with your partner, please wait until all the boards
have been played – and do not continue with the discussion when you meet the next
pair
Thank your opponents at the end of the round
